Accessibility Statement

Before you publish: this statement is written to be honest about where the site stands today. Worth fixing the mobile navigation issue from the site audit first (or soon after) so this statement stays accurate — publishing a statement next to a known, unfixed gap looks worse than not having one.

Our commitment

We want daybreakbrews.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology like screen readers, or who navigate by keyboard rather than a mouse. We're aiming for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as our standard.

Where we are today

We're a small, pre-launch team actively working on this site, and we'd rather tell you where the gaps are than claim we're further along than we are. Areas we know need work and are actively addressing:

  • Navigation on smaller (mobile) screens
  • Color contrast in some secondary text
  • Screen-reader support for the interactive "Find your brew" quiz
  • Reduced-motion support for people sensitive to on-screen animation

We review and update this list as we make progress.

If you run into something on this site that's hard to use, we want to know. Email support@daybreakbrews.com with what happened and what device/browser/assistive technology you were using, and we'll look into it.
