The honest version.
I'll be straight with you: this isn't a recipe passed down for generations. It's just the drink I kept making for myself — and got tired of not being able to grab on the go.
Growing up, I watched my dad reach for coffee every morning like he couldn't start without it, and I quietly decided that would never be me. For a long time, it wasn't. But as I got older and started having the occasional espresso for fun, I noticed the same pattern every time — a fast, jittery jolt, a stomach that didn't love it, and a crash an hour later.
Tea was different. Gentler, steadier, an energy that actually lasted. So I started brewing my own masala chai the way I wanted it: bold, spice-forward, and not drowning in sugar.
The only problem was there was nothing like it on a shelf when I wanted one. Every option was either over-sweet, watered-down, or a concentrate I'd have to build myself. Daybreak Brews is me fixing that — a genuinely good chai, in a can, ready the second you are. For myself, and hopefully for you.
